Terms of Service

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one account
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

Free Trial: New users may receive a free trial period. No payment is required during the trial. Features may be limited during the trial period.

Paid Plans: Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected. Prices are listed on our Plans page and may change with 30 days' notice.

Billing: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Profile settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.

Refunds: Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support within 7 days of a charge for consideration.

Ownership: You retain full ownership of all content you create using CoolMotion, including but not limited to: scene designs, camera blocking diagrams, storyboards, shot lists, captures, recordings, and calibration profiles.

License to Us: You grant CoolMotion a limited license to host, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you and your designated collaborators.

No Claim: We make no intellectual property claims over the creative works you produce using our tools. Your productions, films, and creative output are entirely yours.

You agree NOT to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the service without permission
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the platform
• Use the service to infringe on the intellectual property rights of others

CoolMotion's LiveCam and tracking features require access to your device's camera, microphone, and motion sensors. By granting these permissions:

• You acknowledge that video processing occurs locally in your browser
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to record in your filming location
• You understand that captures and recordings you save are stored in your account
• You can revoke device permissions at any time through your browser settings

When you share projects or scenes with collaborators:

• You are responsible for managing access to your shared content
• Collaborators may view, edit, or comment on shared content based on the permissions you grant
• We are not responsible for actions taken by collaborators you invite
• Public share links make content accessible to anyone with the link

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to:

• Modify, update, or discontinue features with reasonable notice
• Perform maintenance that may temporarily affect availability
• Impose usage limits to ensure fair access for all users

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• CoolMotion is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not responsible for production delays, missed shots, or creative decisions made using our tools

• You may terminate your account at any time from your Profile settings
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately
• We may retain anonymized, aggregated data after account deletion
• Sections regarding intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination
